Ellie Goulding- Your Song

We decided to do Ellie Goulding 'Your song' for various reasons. Firstly, it included various camera shots which we thought would be great for practice for our own music videos. Secondly, the location of the music video could easily be re created but still being a fun video to make. Also, the song is a similar genre to our intended music video which we thought would be great for us to see what shots we could use for ours. The song is also appropriate to the audience as it has no inappropriate language within it. 




Costumes

 

We tried to copy Ellie Goulding's outfit as best as possible considering the time of the year filmed was different. 

• Our Actress wore a tartan wool scarf on top of a khaki green trench coat.
• Also wore a plain pair of black leggings with grey boots
• This outfit resembles a typical autumn day and this is what Ellie Goulding was wearing which we were able to re create.

Location

We used Nonsuch park as it was easy to access and also looked similar to the music video we were re creating. This helped to clearly compare both videos to see the similarities and improvements.

 
 

In our video we also used lip syncing like Ellie Goulding did in hers. We managed to match up them spot on which we were very proud about! Lastly, we used various techniques such as fades, dissolves and pans to match entirely with the artists video.
